Default question about sleeves

How much horsepower can a stock b16 hold? And 2nd how much is it for sleeves and exactly how do they fit? is there any size difference in compression ratio when you get new sleeves. I would just like some general background knowledge on sleeves

Sleeving a motor, in my opinion should be done at a factory. Lots of companies have it set up where you send them your block and they will sleeve it for you. Sleeving basically makes your block stronger and thus giving it the ability to with stand more horsepower without ****** up your block. A good sleeve will cost about 800-900 dollars.
Good Luck

lots of people make over 450hp with stock sleeves and a block guard.. no it doesn't change your compression
