Default turbo not boosting!!!

I posted the same in Preludpower.com but i think more people come at honda-tech so can help me more please...this is my orignal post from prelude power. Help guys...

please visit link for details of the turbo build:
http://www.************.com/forums/s...d.php?t=340805
now i can directly ask my question/problem:

I received my LM-2 after PLX going bad on me so i went for a tuning session. at the tuning, as i accelerate for WOT, after 1.5 psi, my car would feel to go to neutral and get to 10+ psi from MAP of my neptune without any power.
Anyways, i tried fiddeling with boost controller, removing it and then placing it back again but nothing helped.

at the end, i heard a backfire and my car stopped boosting, i dont hear the loud turbo spool, i can see the turbo moving and can hear the turbo spool very quietly. but there is not swishhhhhh sound of BOV and i m not building boost more than 1psi anymore.

what could be the problem? wastegate (stuck)? turbo itself? i hear no air leak and see no leak from turbo to intake couplers.

i am on stock MAP still...

I will check the charge pipe, couplers etc once i get a chance, that should solve the boost building problem now IF its the charge pipe.
What about the earlier problem with the boost shooting up? (boost shooting up called the boost creep?)

Approach this one issue at a time. Make sure you check for those leaks then see if it creeps or spikes.

Gotta do one thing at a time

I will check for the leaks first, should be a tough job with this weather (45C + temperature here now) and car heat and checking for leaks near the engine...will be fun...

I agree with all the above. Check all the couplers.

This to me doesn't sound like a boost leak. The op said he no longer hears the turbo spooling as loud. Every boost leak I have seen the turbo sounds even louder from it working harder and harder trying to reach the set psi. If the turbo got quiter I would check for cracked manifold blown gaskets between manifold and turbo and the turbo itself. Sounds exactly like my recent situation when my turbo ingested its own blades from housing contact. I don't think its a boost leak tho cuz every one I've had the turbo screams trying to buil boost not get quiter like u described. But it doesn't hurt to check that either. Just my 2 cents
