Turbo ef hood issues

different turbo manifold or get an internal wastegate, or u might get away with getting a smaller wastegate, or u can relocate ur wastegate...or try lifting ur hood from the the back....if it was my car i would just relocate the wastegate, u can fab up a pipe urself and weld it if u have welding access or take it to a shop they couldnt chage u anymore than 80 bux to move the wastegate
I had this same problem when i used my old log manifold. The wastegate would hit the hood and i couldn't close the hood at all. I bought two wastegate flanges from ATPturbo.com. I ten welded a 90 degree peice of tubing between them (you can order a 90 dergee piece or make pie cuts). This placed the wastegate off to the side and actually made it a bit easier to recirculate the exhaust. Shimming the hood in the back wony be anough because the motor moves a good bit while driving hard. Neither can you move the latch without getting a gap between the hood and filler piece. Hope this helps!

I have a Tial 38mm Wastegate that sits on top of a Inline Pro Manifold and I was able to cut the webbing out of my hood to get it to fit, in your situation though, I would get an elbow that will move it out of the way.
