wastegate hitting my hood.
So I am almost done installing a Turbonetics kit on me y8 swap eg and when i tried to close my hood it didn't close. I checked what was blocking it and it is the wastegate. I cant move it from the location it is in without getting another manifold, and I cant cut my hood because it is carbon fiber and the support is thin as it is. What should I do to solve this problem.

Re: wastegate hitting my hood.
If i tilt the wastegate then I would also need to modify my dump tube to work wouldn't I? I had a wild taught to cut a hole in my hood and have part of the wastegate and the dumptube point upward and sit almost flush with the hood and make an aluminum shield \to surround the hood. But thats too wild for me.

Re: wastegate hitting my hood.
I know this might be a little different but on my EF with a SIR hood I had to use a ballpeen (sp?) hammer and give it a little indent for my hood to shut all the way. I have a Inline Pro mani with a tial 38mm.
