Default crankcase vent- back of the block or valve cover??

well ive been running the 2 fittings on the back of the block to my catchcan for the past few years. it occasionally pushes some oil into the catchcan. recently i came across an extra valvecover and had a friend weld 2 -10 bungs in it. i also drilled out the spotwelds on the baffle and removed it as it was right where the bungs went.

should i switch to the valvecover vents, even though the hose is a little bit smaller with the -10 than the hose i have currently to the back of my block??

baffles are a BIG benefit. learned this back in the day on an old 350. without them you spit a LOT more oil out

I found having valve cover vents somehow equalise the pressure and stopped the oil from filling the catch can from the rear block breathers.

i think i still have the baffle in my trashcan. i can take it back out and clean it off and tack it back in place. i took it out because i put the bungs on the back of the cover, not the front. it was kinda in the way of the drill when i put the holes in

So you're saying if you put vents in block and in the VC it doesn't collect as much oil?? I'm asking because I plan on venting the back of the block with the Z10 kit. Thanks
