Default Boost creep issues

I have an external waste gate on my D16Z6 with a holset HX25
The waste gate is not routed back into the exhaust.
I am running 7 psi, but if I stay in third gear all the way down to redline, boost slowly creeps to 9~10 psi.
I was wondering if an electronic boost control could fix that.
Something like this:

Probably not. The wastegate is overwhelmed. Either its not big enough or not in an ideal location to bypass enough exhaust.

But on another thought. Boost creep isnt always bad as long as its not extreme. I bet your torque curve is kept nice and flat all the way to redline bc of the added boost.

you need a bigger WG probably, a boost controller allows you to add boost not take boost away. The spring determines the lowest boost pressure you run. good luck
