can boost controllers prevent boost creep?
do boost controllers prevent boost creep?
i was thinkin about gettin a manual boost controller. i was wonderin if it would prevent boost creep on my deltagate. heard lots of stories about boost creep on those wastegates. i cant even boost a steady 7lbs on my wastegate. i dont wanna take a chance and keep adjusting it. spring might give way and BLAM! there goes boost creep on that ***.
manual controllers also hold boost pressures alot better than just the wastegate alone rite? cuz i know electronic boost controllers help prevent boost "leaks".

I'm not positive, but I think a manual boost controller wouldn't do anything. Cuz it still depends on your deltagate spring to reliese the pressure.
Just pick up a tial wg for like 250 and save yourself the trouble. Its 250 that could save your engine.

Actually a MBC will help! The spring is there if you don't have a boost controller. That way he can run 7 psi, no more, no less. Do you have a boost gauge? Just make sure you aren't using a "BLEEDER" type MBC, they suck! If you do a search, you will see some posts about making your own MBC, and if that is not your thing, there is also a post for a MBC for around $50. It is good, and will work fine in your application. Everyone I know is using a delta right now with a MBC, and they are not having any creep problems at all.
