Default Stock GSR Turbo Rev Limit and Tuning questions...

My friends set-up consist of:

Ebay T3 50ar. Turbo
SpoolinPerformance Stainless Steel Log Manifold
SPFAB 2.5" Downpipe
Tial 38mm Wastegate with 7psi spring
Custom 2.5" Coldside Piping and 2" Hotside Piping
Black HKS Blow Off Valve
480cc OsideTiger Injectors
600Hp Precision Intercooler
255 Walboro Fuel Pump
K&N Filter for Turbo
2 Step Colder NGK Spark Plugs (.32)
Stock B18C1

Heres my questions:

1. Where should i leave my rev limit at?

2. Should i get a chipped ecu?

I was thinking of getting a phearable chipped ecu with a custom basemap.
would this be a good option?

Thanks

you need to see your local tuner for a custom tune.

These cars are not like your srt4 where you can buy a sct/dst tuner and it work fine.

keep the rev limit close to stock and the phearable ecu will work fine as a short term solution until you get tuned.

phearable can hook it up with a basemap to run, but stay out of the boost and baby it to your closest tuner... what program do you want to tune with?

Also another question: my new spfab downpipe only came with one o2 bung which i am going to use for a wideband sensor, do i leave the stock o2 sensor off or weld another o2 bung on it?

you wont need a stock o2 sensor. most wideband controllers have a narrowband simulator if necessary.

i wouldnt worry about settin 2 step yet ... i would do that when you get tha car tuned becasue if you set it at something where it will bog then your stuck with that forever till you get it tuned and that could be horrible for launches, and if you set it to high your just gonna fry the tires not to mention the street will like it one rpm and the track will like it at a totaly differnt rpm, but if you realy want it depending on tires my gsr hooked real good with 2 step at 4700, yours might like it a dash higher bein its boosted

your 5 steps ahead of your self bro.

step back and find a tuner first, check with your buddys, check on here for some info/rep points. you wont know what 2 step you want untill you find out how it feels at the track, need more or less?

Buy ecu with basemap, dont drive it anywhere but to the tuner. he will do everything

tune with the wideband in, then throw the stock o2 sensor in so it maintains proper cruising AFR when the weather changes/elevation etc.
