Default Question about Blox Manifold

Today the shop i put my car at for a turbo installed said that the blox manifold wouldnt work with my turbo setup for my 99 LS integra. Here is a list of the stuff i have.
Garret t3/t4 57trim .63ar
Blox mani
dsm injectors w/ resistor box
greddy Type S bov
Custom 2" and 2.5" Ic piping (2.00" piping from turbo to intercooler inlet & 2.50" piping from intercooler outlet to throttle body)
Custom fmic (28,6,2.5) bar and plate
p75 ecu chipped for neptune
AEm 3.5 map sensor
ngk .30 gapped colder plugs
Tial 38mm wastegate (.5bar spring)
custom dumptube for wastegate
evo 9 fuel pump (rated a little over 200)
custom 3" DP (with custom 3" testpipe)
3" straight exhaust from testpipe
slimer radiator fan
all necessary oil lines and t-bolt clamps and couplers

They said they tried different ways of position the turbo but it stil hits the block. I was wondering if any1 had experience with this manifold and if it work for them. Any input would be very helpful.

thanks

You just need to shave some of the block webbing.

If you mean a log manifold, then not really. Most off the shelf, mass produced log type manifolds are usually made to accomodate power steering and AC, and assume you're going to shave the block webbing for compressor clearance. It's not a big deal to do so, and countless people have done so with no problems whatsoever. If you absolutely do not want to shave the block webbing, you can have someone fab you up a custom log manifold, but then you probably won't be able to run PS or AC, and you may have other clearance issues with other components like the radiator and hoses. Most of the tubular manifold designs don't require shaving the block webbing, but they also take up a lot more space and usually aren't PS/AC friendly either.

edit - this is my BLOX, everything clears fine with a little block shaving:

That manifold was designed for a 5 bolt exhasut housing. If you are trying to run a 4 bolt housing it won't fit well at all.

depending how big the compressor is that will determine how much webbing you will have to cut off. It took me awhile to fit my sc34 in my car than it did my turbonetics t3/to4e. here is a pic of the engine bay.

The *shop* that installing you're set-up have never done it before or something. I assume a shop should be known of this and should be able to direct you in the correct direction.

my 90 DA has the turbo mounted in the opposite direction so that i didnt have to notch the block webbing. i hear some machine shops will not sleeve a block that has the block webbing notched out. i will post pics if i can......but im sure youve seen it before, downpipe on passenger side and compressor on drivers side straight to intercooler..............moral of the story is i dont know if that can work for every application but it works great for mine, no notching required.
285whp/225wtq with a cracked ebay manifold that is long gone and broken now.
SLS ram manifold now.
