Default d15b compression results- 180-165-165-160 this good?

So i bought a 95 civic with a blown head gasket and i wanted to check the compression before i did all the work to fix it and these are the results:
Cylinder #1- 180psi, #2- 165psi, #3- 165psi, and #4- 160psi. Is this good or not??

Thanks for the help

Well the head gasket is blown at the moment. What is the compression suppose to be on the d15b?

Also the oil has coolant in it too.

I thought if the compression is lower then 120psi or the cylinders have more then a 25% difference in psi then i should start worrying.

theres a high limit too, which is at ~175 psi for Ds

you may have carbon build up in cyl 1 that makes it raise comp

also specs say there shouldnt be 28psi difference in no two cylinders, your in spec for that

Ok i thought it was 180ish maybe more. The head is decked/milled 0.10 so that will raise compression.

how did you do your test was the engine fully warmed and at WOT? This is the correct way, my D15b JDM got all within a few psi of 205.

Where did you hear this? My D15B was completely clean and i had 190-195 (cold cranking) in all 4 cylinders.

OP, those last 3 numbers are kind of low for (assuming) the lowish miles on that motor. They are within spec, but hopefully they come up after you replace the HG.

The car actually has alittle over 150000 on it and the head and tranny has been replaced but the block hasnt been touched since the pervious onwer has had it and hes owned it for 6 years(he bought it from the original onwer).

must do a compression check when the engine is cold to the touch only. when the motor is warm u will get high inaccurate numbers
