92 Gsr Hatch Wont Rev Past 3k
i have a 92 eg hatch with b18c1,hondata s200,ect. i was getting into it and it bogged out, it didnt die but it wouldnt let me go past 3k and it was sputtering and stuff .. the timing didnt jump and i dunno whats up with it .. i had it back to normal just messing with random **** and then shut it off and then it was doing the same thing .. what could this be
Any codes? I started a thread about this same thing last night. Possibly crankshaft position sensor, ronj@ht told me to check distributor harness wiring... Check yours. Could also be the actual sensor in the distributor housing, but without any codes no one will be able to help much. Pull codes and let us know what she says.
i gave up on it for today ...ive tried almost everything i could
-Completly Retimed Engine (tdc.up+up.ect.)
-Changed Dizzy
-Tried Stock Gsr ECU
and still same thing as before ... any more ideas
this thing i dont get it before i changed any of that if i would mess with little stuff and let it run for couple mins it would start being normal again well i would shut it off and it would go back to doing the same damn thing as before... any more ideas of what it could be ..
How do i check my icm and map .. and yes i do have cels but they have been on since i got the car ..

What are the cels? If they're old then clear them and let the car run for a few minutes, if it won't fire then crank it for about 30 seconds and pull the codes, post codes in here.

My friend had this same issue on his gsr swap an all it was was his tps and some other sensor with the same style clip were backwards, look into that.
