Default How much more oil with turbo setup?

How much more oil do you guys generally run after a turbo install given everything else is the same, 1/4 or 1/8 qt more? I know best way is using the dip stick or sight glass but these cars don't have sight glass so dip stick is the obvious method.

However much oil it takes to fill the feed line..... hardly any. Is this some sort of issue?

thanks just want to confirm if i should be putting more then 3.2qt which is what it takes now, we run about 1/4 a qt more on bikes after a scavenge pump setup but being the turbo sits so high on these cars i don't expect backup to the turbo being an issue.

You usually don't put any extra in... infact, I've heard of people using LESS oil on a turbo car. Why, I have no idea, since no one has ever really shed any light on that. What I'm guessing (which could and probably be dead wrong) is that because the PCV system is pressurized, the oil can become pressurized up into the sleeves and possibly through the rings and all that, but like I said, that could be wrong.

interesting, thanks for the info, so i take it there is no rod bearing issues b/c of oil starvation or lack of enough oil. good to know
