i have code 23 or 22....forgot...its Vtec Malfunction for sure though....i did my swap...b16a2 in ek from my ex ej1......vtec was working and now it doesnt work....i tried cleaning it and changing the spring to a new one....and still nothing....does the solenoid need to be grounded? i have 1 plug of 2 wires hooked up for the vtec pressure switch, and 1 wire to the solenoid....i use to get code for oil pressure switch...but replaced it as well....im running a virgin p28.

 

check your oil level first. then check the grounds for it. not sure where its located, maybe on the thermostat housing

 

oil level is good....all grounds have been checked already.....i just dont know if the solenoid itself needs a ground on either of the 3 bolts it has....

 

the pressure switch runs 2 wires. and the solenoid runs 1. as far as i know i got a y8. im no help with this i really dont have experience with vtec problem. maybe someone else has experience. sorry bro
