vtec oil pressure switch problem

obd0-obd1 conversion harness
no plug to go into vtec oil pressure switch
ive been getting code 21 which is vtec spool solenoid...so i rechecked my instructions from the place i got the conversion harness and it says green wire to vtec oil pressure switch and black to vtec solenoid...so today i recheckd my wires and it seemed like my homeboy who did the conversion got the wires crossed and had black to nothing and green to solenoid...so i re did them....i had green go to ground and black to solenoid....the only reason i had green go to ground because i dont have the plug that goes into the oil pressure switch....so i reseted the ecu and checked my codes again...code21 is gone now but getting code 22....is there a way to get vtec working and get rid of code 22 without getting the plug for the switch....remember im using a conversion harness....

To wire vtec w/out vtec oil pressure, piggyback vtec oil pressure off of vtec signal.
Ground vtec oil pressure ground if not already grounded.
To wire vtec w/out vtec oil pressure, piggyback vtec oil pressure off of vtec signal.

cant i just tap the green wire into the black wire near the solenoid or do i have to tap it near the ecu side and ground it on the other side? i would use the paper clip method but i dont know which is d6 because the diagram im using uses ABC...wut color wire is d6?
