Default b16 oil leak

Ok i rebuilt my motor today and put the engine back in and started it up and oil dumped all over the floor, it leaked from the back of the motor but even with the IM off i cant find the spot it came from, the oil filter and oil sender are both dry as a bone. Is there another spot that gets oil pressure that maybe i forgot a bolt??

Somewhere in the back of the motor there is a bolt that i belive has oil pressure. Where is there oil on the motor, like where on the back? Did you not put in the Crank Case Pressure box thing?

I didnt ever remove the crank pressure box, the oil came from somewhere around the box though, i cant tell exactly where due to the amount of oil that blew out

Try pushing in the box? because thats the only other place that has oil on the back of the motor.

the box does have oil pressure to it? the motor ran maybe 5-10 seconds and dumped 2 quarts of oil so its got to have direct oil pressure.

@OP did you not put in the Rear Main Seal? or the oil pump gasket or something? Because for 10 seconds and 2 quarts not even the oil pressure sender can put out that much.

And i can tell that the pan gasket it sealed still... It cant be the oil pump because the leak is towards the back of the motor. Im starting to pull the motor again and see if i can find it with the motor out.

LOL no from somewhere around the pcv box. still cant find it, does anyone know if the motor will build oil pressure just from cranking it over? Im thinking about just removing the fuse for the fuel pump and turning the motor over to see if the engine will blow oil out.
