Default Oil pump shattered?

very strange. my oil pressure is zero. after taking the oil pressure sending unit out in back of my B16B. i thought it would be a great idea, perhaps something is blocking the sending unit. yet, nothing. a big hole 1/4 wide and no oil is pumping out. I am leaning toward a blown oil pump. Any ideas. I was trying to prime the oil return line to the turbo before hooking it up.....the motor is mechanical so it should not need anything else but power to crank... Open to all suggestion and intelligent reasoning.

How long did you crank it for. It can take quite some time to build up enough pressure to close the switch, or leak out in your case.

How long are we talking about? 30 second or couple of minute. Keep in mind the motor did have oil pressure before. I drained all the oil and when i took off the oil filter, usually their is a residual left in the oil filter and will drain out. This time nothing drain and the oil filter had minimal oil in it.
