car wont idle after wire tuck
well i though i finished my wiretuck but when i plugged **** up and tried to start it i got 3 codes 6,7,10. also when it starts its only on 3 cylinders. if i pull spark plug one nothing happens. should i re run the wires for the 3 other codes? i am stuck please help
cel 3 is map sensor
cel 6 is ECT (engine coolant temp)
cel 7 is TPS
cel 10 is iat sensor.
I think you have the map and tps sensor mixed up, and the same with the ect and iat sensor.

Trace the wires from the plugs through to the ECU for the sensors that you're getting a code on. If those are connected then check your grounds, those all share a common ground.
i traced the tps to the ecu and found the ground which is connected to the iat sensor. should i just ground the wire out or run new wires?
If the wire is already grounded there's no point in grounding it again. I'm assuming when you say you've found the ground, that means that you've ensured that the ground is connected at the thermostat housing and the engine block is well-grounded to the chassis, and the chassis is well-grounded to the battery.
Trace the other side of the wires from the connectors in question through to the pins on the ECU. You'll need to check an OBD0 wiring diagram - I'm assuming you're not swapped - to find which ECU pins should correspond to the sensors at the harness. It's likely you'll find a mixup in there. If you don't, check the specs on the sensors in question and ohm those out as well. I find that unlikely, but it's still worth checking.

i have been converted to obd1 way back when and aint have this problem. the problem didnt arise till i started the tuck so it has to be the engine harness. i pulled the harness last night but didnt get to look over it but one of the wires for the coolent temp was broken off and its the green on so thats prolly the ground.
