well its going to be my street car that i would drag once in a while, not too much. i would like to be running somewhere in the 11-12s with a decent t3t4ballbearing turbo. I would deff be drivin with out the turbo 4 a lil while so i can break in the motor and save up for boost.

ACL is great if your bearing clearances are equal to the ACL thickness. Otherwise Honda will have the right bearing thickness for all your clearances. Both are great, but the bearing clearances are essential to a great build.

The OEM headgasket is known to be reliable.

You shouldn't really go bigger than 81.5 with stock sleeves. If you want bigger bore then get new sleeves. Check the bore once you open the motor and see if the cylinders are clean and your fingernail doesn't catch any of the grooves. I would deglaze the cylinders for the new rings, rebuild, tune, and have fun.

My Cometic .052" headgasket is good so far. No overheating or anything, whatsoever, even with the block guard.

^ what he said, clearances are critical. A good hone job will ensure proper ring seating.

if i run theses 9.8:1 cp pistons and the .o52 cometic HG what you guys think the compression would be. you guys think this would be a good set up.

And staying 9.8:1 is fine. This is why the OEM headgasket was recommended. Just because it is aftermarket, doesn't mean its "better". Especially when you're talking about a Honda. Just one to grow on.

If my memory serves me correclty every .02" is .5 cr. So stock hg is ~.031", the .052" adds .02" which reduces the cr by .5
