aem cam gear?

I have the F23a1 SOHC engine, I was wondering if i already have the AEM EMS standalone, is there any benefit to having an AEM tru-time cam gear? not taking the price in consideration.

bump... to clarify i just need to know since the timing can be changed in the AEM software tune why would i want to get a adjustable cam gear?
