Hey im in the middle of my b18c build. I was thinking of taking it to Kunkles to let them bore it .5, resurface the deck, mirco polish the crank,and but the bottom end together. Have you guys heard anything good or bad about them machining?
I have
Manley h beams
ACL race bearings
81.5mm 9.7-10:1 comp wiseco pistons.
Arp head studs
Full bottem end gasket kit.

How much would you think it would cost for the machining labor.

I was quoted 1200 from a local shop...and like 200 just for boring and surfacing.

It doesn't matter what we pay, give them a call and see how much. Some shops hate import guys, like Steely Performance who quoted me 1200 to put a bottom end together.
