its a sandwitch adaptor, it for turbo so you dont have to tap your oil pan al so you can use it to hook up an oil presor sensor

Could be that the original owner tapped the oil pan before deciding to run a sandwhich adapter. Also, I have heard that sandwhich adapters are a weak spot for turbo systems. They are trick but they don't work nearly as well as a plain old hole in the oil pan.

Somethings making me think this motor isn't stock for some reason. I keep finding new things everyday. Thought the ITR shift linkage was the only surprise I was gonna find.

the other sensor appears to be oil temperature. it has the same look as the temperature sensor underneath the distributor.

one is a oil pressure sensor aftermkt) the sandwich plate is for the turbo feed line . the oil pan is for the return line, like the guy said the return has no pressure, the feed does

sandwish adapter for oil feed but at the same time the used a block fitting for the oil feed where the oil pressure sender is supposed to be and put the sensor on the filter adapter. im not sure what the hell that other thing is. and the oil pan should be tapped as well for oil return. if you just bought the motor and didnt know it was boosted before i would do a compression test to make sure its still in good shape.
