Ok so i got bored and decided to do a compression test.

Engine:b18c
Cylinder 1- 220
Cylinder 2-217-219(gauge was just under 220)
Cylinder 3-220
Cylinder 4-220


What do you guys think about those results?Good or bad?

i was told the engine had about 40k on it..its really clean an runs perfect...just looked at the engine and its from 1993!!

 

a 93 gsr in a 94 teg?

Did you do the test with normal engine temp?

 

yup..drove it to the auto part store to pick up the tool then drove bak and did it!!

yeh a 93..i was told to look at the first circle mark on the head...it says 9/3

 

yea, those numbers are good. How many times did you crank it?

 

did you do a full throttle compression test?

 

no..should i do a full throttle one?i cranked it about 4 times

 

It came out of a 94 gsr but it was assembled in 93.

 

yeah you should do it. also crank it about 8 times
