I was taking apart my SC61 today to have it rebuilt, and the nut was seized and broke the shaft off. Precision wont sell me the wheel and shaft, but they said they could do it for 250. I just cant wait the 10-14 days they quoted me. Im looking for a used or busted SC now, but I'm not really having luck. HELP
yes precision turbos are modified garretts. your going to need a new turbine wheel/shaft combo and w/e else the turbo needed for the rebuild. best bet send it to precision there fairly priced. my buddy got a complete rebuild on his sc61 for 300 bucks i believe which was bearings seals and turbine shaft/wheel. they also cleaned up both housings to look like brand new
this is one of those items where trying to get it one piece at time to repair is just not a good value for you. Go ahead and send it to precision and get the whole thing done correctly without any problems down the road.

I knew they were. It didnt want to go either way, I was attempting to work it back and forth(no homo) and it broke. I just spoke with Jim a gpopshop and he quoted me 210 for the wheel
