help i think i spun a rod.........
yup i think it happend .... when removing the oil pan, what needs to be done to drop the pan. i know i got to drain the oil and remove some nuts but is there anything in the that would make it difficult to drop, the pan.. plz input needed
well you have to pull the exhaust off seeing as how it goes directly underneath the oil pan. i sure hope you're not going to try and replace the rod/main bearings with the engine still in the car..

just want to know for sure thats what it the problem,car runs like a champ, just yesterday it made a knocking noise at 3,000 rpm, not loud but sounds ulgy, doesnt smoke, idles fine starts up no problem got plently of oil....................................
only at 3,000 rpms it have a slite knock what else could it be? btw what a HV oil Pump
