no fuel continued.narrowed it down
well im not getting fuel like the last thread .. iv finally narrowed it down to the problem just not sure how to fix it
can i get a list of possible causes that would cause an perfectly good ecu not to ground out and pulse the injector pins a1-a5?
im thinking grounds but all of my grounds appear to be in tip top shape. iv got a really good ground on the thermo housing and a good trans ground and a good VC ground.
its not a problem with the wiring its self as both the main dash and engine harness are brand new and i know the ecu its self works. and its not a problem with the injectors because A iv tried 5 diff sets and B im verifying this at the ecu pins

i know when my msd went ca-poot we replaced it with a m&w pro14 then the car wouldnt start. We tested the injector box and had no output from it so we had to replace the fuse in the fuse box under the hood and walla
but if the fuse at the box is blown you injectors wont spit at all thats what I as getting at. Im really impressed you chose to speak more about the ignition box I was mearly explaining what had happened, and the process it took me to figure out the injector box was not drivignt he injectors
have u checked for voltage at the injectors?
see he knows where I was going lol

yes my injectors are getting 12 volts its just that the ecu is refusing to ground them out which would cause them to pulse.
and iv checked all the fuses even replaced both fuse boxes.
im not a noob at all to hondas and i build jumper wiring harnessess and chip ecus and all kind of things so im no stranger to these kinds of things.
i know this seems like another im a noob and my car wont start thread but i assure u its not because my car is out of gas
iv eliminated everything . when i test the pins on the ecu a1-a5 which are the injector wires pin a4 i believe it is being blank i dont get any kind of reading from them but i know the ecu is working properly as i can put it in another car and the car runs fine.
and my main wiring is fine
the engine will run with starting fluid/pour fuel manual into it but it wont inject its own fuel.
its not a matter of wiring or possibly a bad harness because the ecu is getting power and responding to me its just not doing its job forsome reason
the car is obd1 its a cx hatch

yes all good connections
is it possible that my TDC or CKP or CYP dizzy sensors might be bad because they tell the ecu when to fire the injectors
and i dont think i would throw a code for them because i think the engine needs to run first

hmmm thats wierd...last time i had a problem wit the ecu not grounding a component, it turned out a circuit in my ecu got fried but the car still ran fine
yeah this is a fun problem for me to solve let me tell u...i guess for ***** and giggles im gonna try to swap in a new dizzy and see if that works. otherwise i have no idea what is wrong with it cause everyting has been changed out except the dizzy
