I got a p28 comp in my 93 coupe and the other day it was having trouble trying to start but after it started it keep back firing and wasn't idling right. so when I was driving it and I was red lining like 5600.

new ecu right? cause I might get a p72 ; will that one give me any problems?

if you get a new ecu, get a p28. a p72 will make you run rich and will throw a knock sensor code. its something else, go to a mechanic. maybe your dizzy is fudged up, or you jumped a tooth.

I wouldnt say that ecu was bad. is there a solid light? even when you jump the service connector?
the computers limp mode is 3k not 5600.

If you decide you want a chipped computer, lmk, I offer the best prices.

Adjust it at the throttle body.
But first, take the intake off and look in the throttle body and have someone push the gas pedal slowly and gradually (engine off) and have them tell you exactly when they push it. If the butterfly starts to open as soon as then press the pedal, it's not out of adjustment and your problem lies elsewhere.
