Default injector options

building up my motor, and i was wondering what injector options i have... basicaly have a ls/vtec, with buddyclub spec IV cams.

would 440's be good? im on a tight budget build, so im looking into some dsm injectors.. whats needed to put those on a gsr rail? would i have to upgrade my fuel pump also?

TIA

You can use 440's but they are overkill. 310's are more then enough for most setups on here.

If you do use DSM injectors they will fit right in but you need to run a resistor box if you are obd1+, if you are obd2 you need to change the clips and, no matter what you need to dremel out the injector O rings (O rings that go into the intake manifold).

I would put a Walbro 255 in there since they are cheap.

found a good deal on 440's. 310's seem to be more expensive for some reason... no one wants to get rid of them cheap enough

so it would run just fine with 440's? or would 310's be worth it for some reason...?

440s will work but you will need some tuning help to get it started and an acheiving good ring seal. If you aren't careful 440s will wash out your rings.

damn, i was hoping i'd be able to start it up at home, and take it to them after we changed the oil. i was thinking of phearable.net and maybe he could make me a decent enough tune to get it started and drive it there, think he'd be able to handle the 440's on there just for a quick start up, and drive it 20 miles to the tuner?

im running rc 440's on my b20 vtec and its fine. we street tuned it with my tuner for like 30 miles on them then threw it on the dyno but get a walbro fuel pump 255lph its like 100 bux. If you have the money i would get a fuel ruel to depending on how big your build is.
