Default Throttle Sticking- After acceleration

Hey everyone!
My throttle sticks a little bit after modest to heavy acceleration. Anyone on this site have an issue with this? The engine is a stock d16z6.

I searched under these topics and found nothing useful

Throttle sticking

Also searched through my Haynes Repair Manuel, but the problem wasnt listed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the replies!
I'll take the intake off tommorrow and check to see if the butterfly valve is dirty. I dont know if it could be a kink because the throttle cable has never been removed.

The problem could also be on the pulley for the throttle body plate (where the cable hooks into). There is a small grub screw under the pulley that the TB pulley rests on when your foot is off the gas pedal. If for some reason this screw backed up too far the TB plate would stick.

I have exactly the same symptom, after hard acceleration, or simply after pulling the foot off the gas too quickly, it gets stuck. I removed the TB one day and even sanded it a little bit, luibed it, removed and put back stuff on it, no replacing just taking off and on, and its not as bad now. I also adjusted my throttle cable a little tighter and it happens even LESS< but its' not gone. Good luck with this issue!
