welll i broke my lower tranny bolts through the casing and if i launch hard at all the whole engine will jerk forwards and backwards on the lower side and this could be the cause try to adjust the throttle cable.. with the little nuts that are there.. and if u try to move the throttle from the wide open position what happens.. is it the cable that is holding it there or is it the actual throttle that is stuck./

i had a problem similar to this once, when i installed my CAI. I accidentally slid the throttle cable off of the guide and made it very very slack. I dont know if this would be the answer for you

the calbe itself is very very slack. i can fit my finger under it on the guide. i unplugged the sensor on top of the throttle body, and the car sputtered, then went to WOT

the spring on the side of the throttle body is in its normal position, so what else could cause this? electrical problem maybe? or am i missing something here?

Problem solved. i decided i would take my aem cai off to have a better look at the throttle body, and guess what. that nice rubber diaghram from the bypass had been sucked into the throttle body. thanks aem for making a quality plastic product.
