Oil Temperature? When is it too Hot?

Default Oil Temperature? When is it too Hot?

Looking to buy a Oil Cooler soon just for the Just in case factor. But i would like to know when is the oil too hot? i am going to be using Mobil1 10-40.

Once you get over 120C you are starting to push it. Some guys see 130C+ but I'd worry about running it like that for extended periods of time. It is putting wear on your motor and also causing you to lose power.

I'm running a setrab oil cooler with a mocal sandwhich adapter with built in thermostat. -10an lines. Fittings and hoses will cost you as much as the oil cooler...
