whats a oil cooler, and ? about motor oils
i was wondering if anyone knew what or where the oil cooler is, and if this item is broken will you motor overheat? also does viscousity affect how hot the oil will be? do oils with higher numbers run cooler or hotter? also will a higher flashpoint result in cooler oil? thanks

An oil cooler is a radiator for oil. If your oil cooler is broken, your oil will be sprayed out very quickly. Most cars do not come with an oil cooler from the factory.
