Default Help w/ CEL Code 22...VTEC Oil Pressure Circuit...

I have a code 22 showing up on my CEL, and I dont know what to do?! I changed my oil today, and still nothing...What else could be wrong, and how much is it going to cost for me to fix it??? Thanks!

Firs things first. Have you checked your oil?
Is your oil pressure light on? Check the two connections on the VTEC assembly, the solenoid, and the pressure switch.

Check your oil pan, see if it is dented? You will need to pound it out or get a new one. Dent will slow the rate of oil going into your engine. thus making your vtec not to work. It happened to mine. My vtec would only work when the car first warmed, for about three minutes. The check engine light would only come on when rpms where in the specified range of the vtec.

Check continuity of the pressure switch and vtec solenoid as well.

If the oil is low, it will do the same thing. Check the oil level
