ok so finally i nearly done with my first turbo setup. just to refresh
t3/t4 turbo 57 trim
rc 550 injectors
ebay intercooler
walbro 255
hondata s300
my real question is that i talked to a guy about tuning my car. i told him i wanted to shoot for 230-250 (stock engine) he didn't really have an opinion on the number but suggested that i tune it and run it on e85. anyone have experience with e85. will running e85 allow me to more safely reach my hp goal or does it not really matter being that the rods are the weak link anyway. thanx for any imput.

What motor is this on? im assuming b series? yes e85 is a great tuning tool but seeing as it takes more fuel and you are only going for that much power, and it is on a b-series, i would probably just use 91oct.
With a start like that I'd have to recommend you take it to someone that isn't retarded.
There's not a reason in the world to run e85 on a 250whp B or D and your injectors aren't big enough anyway.

i'm using 92 octane in a gsr motor with a greddy 18g turbo and i made 251whp and i'm having wastegate issues so it should make even more when its fixed. i think for your goal pump gas is plenty...
i think the reason is cuz i have a stock map sensor and he said thati could only run like 10-11 lbs on that and to make 230-250 on a zc, i may need more than that and running e85 i could make more power with less boost. idk. the car is not a dd and e85 is accessible.
it wouldnt be that much more power to be worth it imo. I would just buy a 3 bar, go for the power you want and then possibly use e85 depending on the power you are looking to make.

E85 does that tuner got any sense in his head??? doesent E85 burn faster then 91 octane? soo i no that ud run out of injector I made 223Whp on a Stock D15A3 in a 87 crx With nothing but a modified HF manifold a saab garret t3 turbo,msd boost timing control and 6A box 1.5 inch charge pipes n a stock DSM intercooler with 2.5 inch exhuast i made that 223Whp At 11psi on megasquirt
ya , just tune on 93 octane.... you'll be fine... and just spend the 100 bucks for a GM 3 bar map sensor, hell you can find them used for way cheaper too....

if you do decide to go with E85, which isn't needed. you might need bigger injectors....
