Default Good Turbo For My Setup??

Stock B16A4 (SiR)
RC 650cc Injectors
2.5 IC piping
SKunk2 Pro Series intake manifold+throttle body
AEM Fuel Rail + FPR
3'' DP

My goal is around 300 WHP. Definetly no less then 280. Which turbo would best fit my setup?? (I know these are considered ebay turbos but I know a company that will rebuild with garrett internals and 1 year warranty, so if it blows it'll only cost me a total of like 600$ for a Garrett turbo)

Heres the link : http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1489

I was thinking this one on that page:

Prod.# T04E Turbocharger
Price $179.95

seems perfect for my setup, but I could be wrong. What you all think?

Some people have had success with those turbos, some haven't. Overall though the "ebay" turbo is frowned upon on this site.

There's a chance the turbo will be fine and make the power you want and last for quite some time. Then there is a chance the turbo is a piece of trash and your out $180.

Why don't you just take a little more time, and save up till you can afford a real garrett t3/t04e?

Save up for the garret. Get a 57 trim with a .63 a/r with a stage 3 wheel, that would be perfect for your goals and also give you room to go bigger later if you wanted to. Dont buy cheap stuff, do it right the first time.

SSAC = ****

Find a Garrett, Precision or Borg Warner unit. You'll have a lot better luck with a good turbo rather than risking your setup on a shitty turbo.

Boosting isn't cheap...

Write that one down. It'll be on the "What not to do when building a fast car" Test.

It seems people can't read this enough...

You could quote that for a week and try to pound it into peoples' heads, but in the end, people are cheap and "think" they know better. In the end, this turbo will blow up and he'll spend more for a new unit. Its not my money or my car so i could really care less if he blows up 10 turbos. Some people just dont get it

It's cheaper and easier to do things right the first time
