so i was disassembling an h23a1. it has over 200K on it. i needed some bolts and hoses ect off it before i give to rosko for his ultimate project.
either way, a lot of the hoses feel almost glued to the piping and block. any idea of how to get these off with out cutting them ect? i tried to muscling them off. but i weight 140 lbs.

Haha, Im 240 and my motor had 112k on it and it was still a bitch getting all the hoses off. What worked best was vice grips. Id clamp them on the end of the hoses and give them a little twist, until the were removable.

I run the flat head all the way around (or at least as much as you can) to seperate the hose, the get some pliers/vise grips and twist.

That should help too, but the best thing, like people have said, it to grip the hose good and twist it to break the seal.

Get a hose hook from Snap on. Looks like a curled pick, works freaking awesome on Heater core hoses that are a bitch.
Think it was like $15, works every time!
Or some Channel locks will do it.
