stock head, block, and tranny
just bolt ons

i had an issue a few weeks back that at the time seemed to point to the tranny and/or clutch and it turned out to be a snapped cable in the shift linkage. I was unable to get in or out of any gear.

Well i replace the linkage and it fixed the problem, it seemed, but it still felt a lil notchy gear to gear. Last i check the clutch slave cylinder was engaging the fork fine, and the clutch fluid levels were good. I was driving the last few days with NO ISSUES at all, smooth shifting and all and was sitting in first for a moment and felt a lil bit of jerkyness like the car wanted to pull forward or stall and as I accelerated and went to shift to 2nd i had a hell of a time pulling out of gear and an equally hard time getting back into any gear. I managed to make it home, but now I seem to be locked out of any gear.

I CAN put it into gear with the car off and start it, but when I do it lunges like it wants to go, and if im sitting still in gear with the car on it almost feels like the car is barely in gear and wants to stall. Could this mearly be a low or no tranny fluid issue, or is this more a clutch/TOB/or tranny issue...


any help would be great. I'm trying to sell the car and really cant afford to swap a major item unnecessarily.
