Default AH! 01 prelude..CEL 71, 72, 73, AND 74

I'm hoping someone on this forum has run into the exact same problem as me as I have tried reading other posts and trying everything they suggested and nothing works.

Pulled the code and I got all 4 codes. I have changed the distrubor, changed my spark plugs, changed my 02 sensor, ran injector cleaner, checked my egr, etc. Now I know my compression in one of my cylinders is a little low but when the check engine light is on the car runs like a champ so i doubt my engine is toast....

When the car has the CEL on, it does idle search ONLY when it's cold. BUT when the CEL is off and its cold it does not idle search. There must be someone who has gotten all of these codes at once please post how you fixed it. I know there are threads on here on what it COULD be but lets here from someone that has had this problem and fixed it.

I appriecate your guys help I'm ready to throw my lude over a bridge!

I know I have all of these codes already and no I have not checked my timing...did you have the exact same problem before? Compression was 139 in the one cylinder.

Thats bad, very bad compression. I think 130 PSI in any one cylinder is horrible and time for a new motor or a rebuild. Just food for thought.

No I havent had this problem before. But there are only some many issues it can really be. Whats your comp in all 4 cylinders. Anything more than 15% diffrence in any cylinders is bad.

Why does the car run really well when the light is off if my engine was toast? I don't get it..

thats what i was thinking. if you have 130 psi its def time for another motor or rebuild it. thats way low for an h22
