The OBD2 GSR wiring harness will plug and play at the passenger strut tower. But you will still need to wire up VTEC solenoid, VTEC pressure switch, knock sensor, and IAB from the strut tower to the ECU plugs.

Humm never knew OBD1 harness will plug into a OBD2 harness

Just use ur CX harness and add in the vtec. Everything will plug right in, you might need to switch a sensor or two.

it will!!! obd2 integra harness will plug straight up to the the factory 92-95 civic shock towers. and the cx car is already wired for vtec the only thing you need to wire is the iabs and your good to go.

I have 94 Civic SI.... with a USDM OBD1 GSR going into it. I know i have to wire up the knock sensor and IAB. But do I have to mess with any of the other pins? A20?

You'll need to do the distributor conversion harness when using a obd1 harness, b/c the obd2 dizzy connection is 2 connectors and obd1 is 1 connector. Theres another too, i think the injectors.

ahh i see now, so most likely i would need to drop in the (CX) wiring harness and just wire it up that way and whatever plug don't fit the GSR motor just switch it out? i got all the other wired inside the car wired up for vtec and knock senor and all that!!! so i just need a OBD1 wiring harness?? and wire it up that way, and switch out the sensor that doesn't plug in?

YES!! 96-99 Integra harness will plug up perfect to any 92-95 civic. Do not use your crusty Cx harness with the single wire 02 sensor. Use the Integra engine harness!!!!!!!!!!!

However the ONLY civics that were prewired for vtec are all 92's and 92-95 Si's and Ex's, his 95 Cx is not prewired, he would need to run all the stuff Blueintegraboy said from the shock tower to the ecu!!!!!!
