Default '95 gsr motor into a '95 hatchback cx

i have a '95 civic hatchback with a '95 gsr stock motor in it. Can anyone please help me!!!! Everything is pretty much in place...except the car wont start...i've tested out the distrubtors and it still dont have no fire...will the gsr motor harness work for my cx...can someone please let me know where i can get a hold of a wiring diagram...

If you use a factory OBDI GSR wiring harness from the engine the car should fire up with no problems. The only thing you may need to wire is vtec as I can't remember if that model is prewired or not.

It sounds like you have other issues.

Is the car turning over? Do you have fuel? Have you checked the plugs, wires, and rotor? Find another OBD-1 VTEC dizzy and swap it to see if it's the actual dizzy that's the problem.

Also, you will have to wire in the VTEC solenoid, the pressure switch, knock sensor, and the secondary butterflies as none of them are present in the chassis harness.

Again, it could be something so simple as something left unplugged somewhere.

the car does crank but it wont fire up...no life to it...i have already changed out distributors bout five or six different ones...even took a friend's dizzy to see if it was the problem...and now im back to square one...no life to my cx!!! ...please help!!!!

did you check your grounds? ground tranny, engine, and battery. happend to me once... it'll crank but won't start.

check your firing order on your spark plug wires, check all your wiring

I'm sure it's up and running by now, did you make sure the map and TPS sensor weren't put on backwards?
