What Map Sensor For PowerFC?
You need to be able to use the "Boost KIT" that includes the harness and 3 bar pressure sensor that hooks directly into the power FC (WHITE PLUG). There are a couple of people in Australia that did a GM 3 bar map sensor, but it threw off the maps that the Power FC uses for voltage to make sure it has the right amount of pressure. You'll still need either FC Datalogit, or a Power EXcel tuner to work with it. Simply trying to do it from the commander for a BOOSTED application takes darn near 10 hours. I've tried it, so believe me.

Very True. The wiring can be tedious, to go into the harness, but it can be done.

I jsut bought the harness and map sensor from the same guy i purchased the PFC from. Costed $165 but it was here already, and no need to mess around with it in the tuning software.

From what I remember, it should be able to have the right calibration for the map sensor once it sees that it is plugged in. Remember, DO NOT REMOVE YOUR OEM MAP SENSOR. The power FC works with Both sensors together, not like a GM 3 bar, where it takes over all of the readings. Once the Map sees boost, it will see the other sensor and work accordingly. That's why I stated to just plug and play, there is no calibration needed.
The only thing different that you will notice is that your check engine light will illuminate after 11psi, even with the sensor. Ignore it, it is just a code that the Power FC engineers forgot to eliminate when adding the pressure sensor. I've run it for 4 years, its not a problem at all.
