Default turbo noob need simple answers

im trying to learn as mush about turbo as i can before i boost my car.... reading up but what does a 60 trim mean exactly? and what does something like .66 A/R mean? thanks

Trim is the relationship between the inducer and the exducer. Trim= (Ind. Squ/Exd. Squ)*100. A/R means area/radius it describes a geometric characteristic of all compressor and turbine housings. Basically the sizes of the two.
