tuner toy rods any good??
I was just wanting to know how many people out there, are using the tuner toy
rods for the sohc. I have a y8 motor that im going to build it this winter, my goal is to hit 300whp. I would like hear what you guys think about them. I would also like hear some good parts to use to get to the 300whp mark thanks Dustin

They are okay I guess. I built a SOHC motor with a set of TT rods. The small end on the rods had to be opened up and rebushed to fit the wristpin but what do you expect for a $200 set of rods?

The new TT rods was redesign to fix that problem. But we'll find out when you help put my block togather.

yeah, My old old eagle rods from like 1999 or 2000 had that problem too. So I guess thise shows they were not made in the same plant because Eagle corrected their issues before TT ever came about.
Let me know when you need it done.
