Default TT rods for sohc ?

Ok so I'm nearing the end of gathering up all my parts for the build. I was considering just using some LS rods, but I recently ran into a good deal on TT rods.

I've read a lot of mixed opinions on them saying everything from "they aren't much stronger than stock" to "they are the same as eagle/crower/scat"

which is more accurate? I only plan on making about 200-225whp at first(just to get used to the characteristics of a turbo car) then later get a better manifold and turbo and shoot for 250+.

Alot of people have use the tt rods with no problems. If they are not much stronger than stock then why would people but them in the first place. I am starting on a d-series built and I sure will use the tt rods if I can find them. I know they sell fast.

They've been proven numerous times take the same abuse that Eagle/Scat/Crower rods can.

i thought tuner toys had their h beam rods discontinued for a bit since they were wanting to redesign em.

^ Block notching is require if you are using aftermarket h-beam rods into any d-series. They redesign because poeple that had the old rods was having issue with the rods being too wide and not fit into the clylinder wall. Maybe somebody can confirm this?
