vtec not engaging..

vtec doesn't engage whenever you have CEL. code 20, hmm...is your battery good? alternator? how do the gound wires look? are they corroded? connected?

if the tranny gournd wire and battery ground wire isnt properly connected..the car wont start correct?...the car starts so can it still be these ground wires?

correct me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure this is a false statement. there are certain things that will cause vtec to not engage but not just any CEL. I'm throwing a cel right now and have been for a while and my vtec engages just fine.

what type of cel to you have. that my memory serves me correctly, it is true.
CEL + VTEC = NO VTEC
