Default Alcohol Injection, How much HP you guys pushing???

i made an evening street tune tonite on 26 psi with 50/50 mix alcohol injection...pretty conservative timing (will adjust on dyno sat)..im running 91 pump gas with gt35e turbo

my question is, how far are u guys taking the meth injection on pump gas? what numbers are u producing?

Im planning to make over 550 hp...thats my goal anyways...

Alcohol injection would probably register as 100octane or higher, only problem is that there's always a chance that the kit may fail... which is rare. But if it does kiss your motor goodbye, especially if your tune is based on the alchy kit, instead of being a fail safe. IE tuning for a certain amount of whp, and then running a little bit of injection for extra safety. Anyways, i think 550hp is pushing it, then again i'm going to try to run 350-400whp daily on pump gas w/ Alcohol on my built d. So i say go for it, just let me know the outcome and the specifics of your setup. Size or your nozzle, what kit, IAT, EGT's, etc.

As of right now...im running a m10 nozzle, devils own progressive controller hitting full injection around 18 psi...

The iat stays around 80 degrees when sprayed and then slowly tapers back up to 120 degrees when not in use...

My engine coolant stays around 188-190....keep in mind this is in the evening with cooler air..

Car does not get traction in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd....have to make quick passes in 4th to get a smooth data run...

This my weekend car...we have a gas station that sells 101...so i might be using that from now on...but im curious to see how far i can make on 91

do you have an egt gauge? I know this is apples and oranges, but I picked up about 40hp and 25tq on an N/A b16 with a snow's water/meth kit and ALOT of tuning, using a wide band afr and an egt gauge...tuned the water/meth mix to keep egt's around 1200 under wot... although they did skyrocket in 5th (1400+)

We've done 500whp uncorrected in an STi... with their drivetrain loss that equates to ~700crank hp on 91 with a snow kit. The problem with this is, you're really pushing it on crappy pump gas. Unequal cylinder distribution can be a bitch... if you do it, definitely read all the plugs.

BTW, that STi just popped off a 10.9 @ 129 on street tires @ 5000feet after 5000 miles of abuse (and by abuse I mean ABUSE lol)
