Default piecing together a turbo kit.

i wanna boost my LS and i don't wanna buy i kit because, maybe i can save a couple bucks. i have absolutely no idea about what set up i want to do, so i figured id ask around for what people think my set up should be. my goal for right now is 250 whp, then later on id like to bump up to 300whp after some internals are done. of course ill have a few questions. is custom ic piping better than and regular piping you buy from a manufacturer?ill have around 3-5 grand to spend on this.

what turbo, manifold, wastegate, dp, fuel pump/management?

Full-race or Peak boost! Just make it a one time buy rather than trying to upgrade later on.
You'll save more in the long run.

sounds like you have enough money. heres what we did to my friends gsr

peakboost kit = 2800 bucks
rc 550cc inj = 270
act clutch kit = 390
chipped ecu = 125
motor mount insert = 60

now this is a gsr, but by the 4th dyno pull the car made 300 hp at 9-10 psi

If you wanna buy eveyrthing brand new, good luck getting it all cheaper than a kit... The kits are made to usually save you money and to also add an ease of installation.

you could get your goal easily with almost any turbo kit in production... the drag kit would be perfect for you, and at around 2600 you cant beat it.
Keep in mind youll need engine management and tuning, but 2600 for all those parts is a steal.
