Im planning on rebuilding my d16 tranny. Anyone ever rebuilt a 5spd? I have a little collection of hand tools, Just built a 8'x2' work bench, and helms is on the way. All advice will be appreciated. I have searched. Seems like one person did it.

What all do you want to replace/rebuild? It gets expensive

My car was stolen, and my second gear will pop out when i quickley let off the gas.

 

I'd just get a new tranny, unless you're just rebuilding for the experience.

no point in rebuilding. i both 2 trannies for a total of $175 first one $100 and a ride to Boca Raton. 2nd $75 from a friend

I have another car. Use it just for pojects like these. I guess i will need to replace the 2nd gear syncros. I would like to know if there is a way i can get a larger diff gear that would work or maby a descent lsd?

 

Would that dude Bense know about prices or my diff question?
