Default My dream (on a budget) build. Input needed.

To preface this post I'd like to state my goals for this car. In regards to power, I want a reliable street set-up (around 200whp). I dont care much for aesthetics so the dings and paint oxidation will stay .

Operation: Kill the GFs c230/Have an awesome DD

Engine
D15b Vtec; cheap, effective, straight forward install
ZC transmission
This will be the first thing I install. Big increase in hp over stock dx and the shorter tranny will be fun as well.

Turbo. I'll piece this together after the engine swap
t3 50 trim
log manifold with 38mm wastegate
DSM BOV/INjectors
Starion or srt-4 intercooler
chipped p28 with chrome
custom piping (uncle owns welding shop)

Suspension. The goal here is for an above stock feel and minimal body roll
ST rear sway
Undecided shock/spring combo. I don't want to slam the car, I just need to look deeper as to what will be better than stock, not too stiff for the street, and not insanely expensive

Exhaust
2.5 inch to any magnaflow/flowmaster/etc muffler in stock location with either an oval or dual tip end.

Brakes
Hawk Pads upfront and possible rear disk conversion

This is the rough draft for what I want to do. Is there anything I'm forgetting or overlooking? Any input on this set-up to achieve my goal is appreciated.

Default Re: My dream (TehMoonRulz)

looks exactly like what I am looking to do. except mine is with an a6 and my si tranny. I mean exactly the same setup, so i hope guys give you the thumbs up. When i saw you say the paint oxidation can stay, I determined right there this is one I have to watch, since all the other build threads include paint and makes me feel like i am neglecting my honda, and I cant afford that plus a turbo setup.
