Default spooling issues??

my setup
100% stock gsr motor
peakboost ramhorn manifold
xs power waste gate (going to get a tial wastegate)
50mm tial bov
450 dsm injectors
garret t3/t4 turbo a/r 60
walbro 255 lph
3inch downpipe going to 2.5 inch exhaust with high flow cat
stock intake manifold
tuned on crome
on 4.5 pounds of boost (have a leak somewhere going to go for a retune after its fixed and boost 8psi)
making 221 hp and 165 torque I don't see boost until after 5500 rpm

My questions are what can I do to make the turbo spool faster? When I build the motor and say im able to boost 18 pounds will the spool time get faster?

thanks
chris

Run a test pipe and 3inch exaust. And fix your boost leak.

i think the big problem is that you're leaking boost, thats why its taking so long to spool.

Not alot quicker your 2.5 exaust is ok. The boost leak is your main problem.

I'd be willing to bet that the problem is your Chinese wastegate...they tend to leak
