Log manifold/external wastegate

Log manifold/external wastegate
Just wondering what your guys think about this.
My current turbo setup is
Log Style Manifold
T3 Super 60(.48/.60) /interal wastegate(6psi)
TurboXS HP boost controller
2.5" downpipe Manderal Bends/2.5" crushed bends exhaust
I would like to be able to hold 18-20 psi.
With my current setup the car will boost up to 20 psi but falls right back to 15 psi. Would adding a external wastegate allow me to hold more boost to redline? With a Full 3" downpipe/exhaust manderal bends
I would be switching to this manifold
Engine is 2.0L and revs to 6800 rpms.
Thanks.

Re: Log manifold/external wastegate (boostdummy)
the 3'' will help hold boost higher up but you have to remember your running s t3 on a 2.0, its gonna choke up top.

Probably the internal wastegate being blown open by exhaust manifold pressure.

Thanks for the comments.
I am shooting for 275-300 WHP. I am cuurently @249 WHP with 15 psi of boost. I was hoping to be able to get 18-20 psi out this turbo and hopefully get me up the range I am shooting for.
Any suggestions on turbo that wil spool super fast liek what I Have now and still be able to get me 300?
Or Is it the internal wastegate??. The internal setup I Have just bolts on so i don't have to worry about shutting the flapper door.
Thanks.

I bet if you got a stiffer wastegate actuator you could hold 18+ easily. An external would be ideal, but inernal should work OK with a good actuator and adequately sized flapper and port.

Or the turbo is falling out of its range, a 2.0L motor is gonna choke the **** out of that turbo at Higher RPM's

what kind of engine do you have. I bet you could reach your HP goals a little easier if you rev'd higher also.

True, a .63 exhaust housing and wheel would do well on that motor

Re: Log manifold/external wastegate (nfn15037)
this setup is not on a Honda Motor
So 6800 RPMS is the highest it revs.
So you guys think the .48 is to small?
With the short rpms I need something that wont be to laggy thats why I went with the .48 instead of the .63

For the ppl who think the turbo is running out of steam
WHat turbo do you recond mend that will SPOOL very fast Because I am only reving to 6800 RPMS. Remember I am looking for 300WHP range
